“Today I had the privilege of being in midst of who’s who in Science and Research. For nearly 50 years, AWIS has been at the forefront of critical conversations and meaningful action at the intersection of science and society. This event brought together approximately 200 decision-makers in STEM who are in position to direct future change with positive solutions. Sara Kenkare-Mitra presented the AWIS Pinnacle Award to Sue Desmond-Hellmann at the AWIS event in SF. I also had the pleasure of meeting Ann Lee-Karlon, Wendy Young, Amita Joshi and other successful women in #STEM. Thank you Lori Devine and AWIS for doing an outstanding job for bringing the brightest minds in sciences together.”
